Financial Feminist changed my relationship with my bank account. It’s a great combination of straightforward, well-articulated advice about any money matter you might have questions about (and how they specifically affect women) and high value conversations with super thoughtful guests about all kinds of issues and how they effect finances/life/self and personal power. Tori and her team break this all down and you feel like you’re getting this info from your smart best friend. It’s completely transformed my relationship with my money, and I love the focus on feminist issues and how finances affect our lives personally and politically. I didn’t realize how much I needed this type of financial education, but I so appreciate it.

I stumbled upon Tori on IG and signed up for the newsletter. I was intimidated and scared of all of this but now I’m listening to old podcasts and catching up where I can and devouring everything I can as quickly as I can. I feel SO empowered and excited to start this journey!

This podcast has been so helpful in navigating my declaration that this would be my year to take finances to the next level. After the basics (emergency fund, 401k), I finally felt freedom for “what’s next” and Tori’s content both is guiding me through that with confidence AND saving me the cost of a financial advisor! This is more an open letter to Tori. I started following you at the beginning of 2024. My daughter was in her senior year at high school and I had the realization we weren’t going to be able to help her pay for it. I bought your book, listened to the podcasts, and things started to fall into place. Today I listened to the episode about finance for college students. I found myself holding back tears. The lives you have changed, mine and my children’s but also that young lady you were speaking to and so many others. You listened openly and with such kindness, offering valuable information to her and your listeners. Keep up the amazing work that you and your team does. Thank you!

I have made strides in my financial education and in understanding how to feel more agency over my finances but your platform is missing the history of feminism especially from the black feminist lens. We need a bigger platform for revolution… not only within the existing structures to gain more than survival, but this is not just a podcast this impacts a wider audience that needs to be educated at a basic level… who were our founding mothers? Can we have an episode on bell hooks, Toni Morrison, and others from around the world who are feminist advocates, to explain the revolutionary purpose of feminism as a movement to end sexist oppression and exploitation. Thank you Tori ( and her team) for bridging the gaps in so many women’s financial lack of education. Read feminism is for everybody passionate politics by bell hooks :)

i can never thank you enough for teaching me, essentially, everything i know about money and building wealth and clearing debt. i grew up poor and had horrible examples of money management my whole life. i just turned 26 and have finally escaped a cycle of destructive behavior due to poor mental health. i am ready to reclaim control of my finances and my future, and i couldn't do it without you and all the other financial feminists 🫶

I’ve been an avid listener and fan of Financial Feminist for many years. But after Tori’s most recent episode “A Post-Election Pep Talk”, I wanted to give and show my deep appreciation for Tori and the entire Financial Feminist team. As a Black woman, I’ve felt so, so alone and just deeply lost after the election. I’ve been a mangled mess of emotions but hearing Tori just speak from the heart was what I needed to hear today. Knowing that Financial Feminist got us makes doing the work, in my finances and just life in general, that much more doable. If you see this Tori, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words resonating when I needed to hear them the most.

I’m a CPA and I highly recommend Tori’s podcast for people looking to educate themselves in personal finance. Her content is accurate, thorough and done through a lens of compassion and empathy for peoples’ realities.

As a financial feminist, I voted for Trump. This will be good for our money, good for our small businesses, good for our future children. I’ll probably just listen to more Bigger Pockets podcasts from now on since they are more based on logic and less on emotions. Otherwise, there have been some great episodes here!

I absolutely love her podcast. While she definitely makes it known her political views, she’s not only addressing issues affecting all women right now (regardless of their misguided beliefs) and she is advocating for change in a world that effectively wants to strip us of our rights as women! I have read her book and it totally changed my life, the way I view money and the confidence I feel regarding making my own decisions about my money is in matched. I have purchased her book as a gift for friends (Christmas and birthdays) because I feel so strongly that every woman should read her book. Tori explains everything we need to know in a way that is easy to understand and relevant to the younger generations (for those of us who aren’t and will never be old white men). I feel like she is teaching me all the things no one teaches us in school, the stuff that is so important for success in this broken system (the patriarchy) and how to advocate for change in a world that wants to stunt progress.

I would follow Tori anywhere.
